Many creative hands at the fair ..!

Saturday I was at the "Skillfully autumn edition" in Vicenza. It 's a Fair creative hobby great! There were lots of stands, felt by the creative sewing, the embroidery and bijoux.

You could find many good ideas for Christmas decorations, to set up the tree or the table.


Look at these beautiful ceramic gift tag, they look like confetti, and bell'allestimento have done with the cans and transparent splash! There you can buy on The Secret Garden.



These soaps are garlands of Nordic style, what a great idea is not it?! They had a beautiful booth, full of fantastic decorations between mice which also felt wonderful.

And then there were a myriad of stands selling fabrics of every color and pattern.


This is the perfect Christmas tree for me, full of cakes, buns and biscuits felt! Adorable!


Although these cookies are beautiful! Do not you think? Countrydolls are on their site you can buy patterns for them!

Another cake, birthday of a lady of fierce player cards! This time, a theme quite simple, basically I am just 2 tris to make it unique!
The interior is a wet sponge with the milk and vanilla custard filling. Cover dough in sugar, honey, everything edible, from the cards hand-painted with food coloring, the deck that contains chocolate salami, the pen, all sugar paste!

Another engineering degree .., sweet friend met during my freshman year of college! Theme known as the engineering "would be" my field! So what? a good helmet white engineer, to design (painted with the colors of powder in sugar paste), a pencil and a bracket to give a little color. All this rests on a wooden table (the part of this cake that I was not excited ... As I announced I was in Zanzibar for a week with my mom. It 'been a week of relaxation in which we also learned about a culture totally different from ours, in which I have been enriched with new experiences, new friendships. I met people fantastiche, con cui era bella trovarsi a mangiare assieme e poter parlare di ogni cosa! Ho visto come si producono le spezie, ho mangiato banane, cocco papaya e passion fruit.




Ho imparato qualche parola in lingua swahili, ho apprezzato i racconti dei Masai. Scoprire che comprano le loro mogli per 20 mucche mi ha lasciata di stucco, ma questa è la loro cultura e abbiamo il dovere di rispettarla.


Sono tornata cambiata da questo viaggio, forse ora apprezzo di più quello che ho, forse a volte farebbe bene a tutti un viaggio nel mezzo della povertà...
